This 2014 911 50th Anniversary Edition. There were only 1963 made world wide. It is a Carrera S equiped with the power pack, re-creation Fuchs wheels and it is the only wide body 2 wheel drive in the series (as standard equipment)  It will go 0-60 in sub 4 seconds (3.8) and do 186 mph. It was only produced in three colors light gray almost white, gray, and black. Most but not all other Carrera options were avaiable.

What's so special? First and foremost, the shape. The 50th Anniversary 911 has the wide body from the Carrera 4S yet remains rear-wheel drive. The ride has been dropped GTS-style by 10mm and the combination of the dropped stance and wide hips is mesmerizing. The front intakes and grille (in back) are black with chrome accents, as is a little two-bar strip where the AWD C4S has a red reflector. Then there are the massive, "cry from the past" Fuchs-style 20-inch wheels. Despite a seeming never-ending chorus of "Looks like every other 911," I've always maintained that the 991 is surpassed only by the original 911, looks-wise. And even then that's only a maybe. I'll never forget the first time I got to spend a day with the new 991, contrasting its lines with a 997 GTS. The 991 was notably more handsome and better thought-out. Bauhaus without being slavishly retro; modern with a firm understanding of the past. What a wonderful design, reminiscent of the 356 in its curves. The 50th Anniversary car takes that great shape and pushes it further
Inside, it's almost as good. The stars are the seats, which are covered in hounds tooth or Pepita tartan, cloth with leather side inserts. The leather on the dash and doors is finer than normal, and the aluminum trim has been brushed harder.

This car is appointed exactly how you'd want it. The gauges are throwback, with green lettering, white needles, and silver pointer caps -- just like in the original 901. People who stopped to take a look universally liked the interior as much as, if not more than, the outside. The only flaw I could find was an out-of-place cup holder icon in the middle of the cup holder cover. It's there because customers complained in initial quality surveys that they couldn't find the cup holders. I bet everyone who purchases a 50th Anniversary car will find a way to scrape the icon off.
